  Love the ambience. Love the staff, very friendly and helpful. Whenever I want a quiet place to study, I go to the library. Love the variety of books. Wish they were more books for educational purpose for adults.

  A large library branch with a wide selection of books both physical and electronic as well as CDs and DVDs. There's entertaining things for kids to do and meeting rooms available for hire. The staff are friendly and helpful.

  Great variety of activities (e.g. Public readings, live music) and group events for kids and adults. Not the best place for quiet study as there are often kids yelling and running around, or playing computer games or music with the sound up high. Go to Charles Darwin University library down the road if you need a quiet space (no WiFi there unless you're a staff member or student of an Australian university though). Free WiFi is very limited, at 200mb for members (free to join) or 100mb for guests. They also have some devices like iPads available for use within the library. I have noticed groups of people playing cards (possibly Magic: The Gathering) from time to time. Might be worth asking the library staff what their schedule is if that's what you're into. The library staff can also help you find a job or tidy to your resume. They have desktop computers available for use, but you'll need to book in advance to guarantee spot.

  Friendly and helpul staff, very lovely! The library itself could need a renovation. 15 minutes computer time for free.
